Hutcheson Selected by Virginia Governor-Elect for Transition Energy Subcommittee

Richmond, VA (Friday, December 11, 2009) – Troutman Sanders Strategies (TSS) announced today that Richmond-based Director Ken Hutcheson was asked to serve on Governor-elect Bob McDonnell's Transition Team, specifically the Energy Subcommittee of the Economic Development Work Group.

In early November, Governor-elect, McDonnell, spoke at the Inaugural Virginia Alternative and Renewable Energy Conference, produced by Troutman Sanders Strategies’ Richmond-based Director, Ken Hutcheson.  Hutcheson founded the 501(c)6, not-for-profit, nonpartisan, free-market advocacy organization in 2008, and it is comprised of 40 member companies which represent Virginia's leading renewable energy companies and organizations.
 The subcommittee Hutcheson will serve on is chaired by Dominion CEO, Tom Farrell and includes John Luke (CEO, MWV), Mike Quillen (CEO, Alpha Natural Resources) and State Senator Frank Wagner, among others.
