Humberstone blends an academic background in health policy with extensive experience successfully managing difficult healthcare issues at the state level. In her current role, Humberstone focuses on advocating clients’ needs in the areas of insurance, pharmacy, certificate of need, and other healthcare regulatory and legislative issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Humberstone served as a research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center at Georgia State University. In this capacity, Humberstone's primary responsibilities were writing for peer reviewed journals, submitting grant applications, reviewing grant applications and translating research results for stakeholders.

Additionally, Humberstone’s previous experience with the Georgia General Assembly enabled her to establish bipartisan, strong, working relationships and rapport with House and Senate members as well as a concrete understanding of the State's legislative process.
